55" HDTV last night. For $3450 I get the display, delivery, and a five year in house warrenty. I am very excited. Look forward to a review of the monitor in a couple of months once I have given it a good what for. As far as sources go, I am looking at the Panasonic RP56 Progressive DVD player. It has gotten excellent reviews from the trades as well as consumers and runs right around $220. It aparently uses a Faroudja de-interlacing chip found in a lot of five figure line multipliers. It seems I also have to rewire my whole front speaker array to fit the new TV. At least it offers a bit of excitement for my cat.
